Open Houses

Metropolitan Nursery School invites you to join us for an Open House, where you will learn about our school’s program, curriculum, and admission procedures. The Director will be available to answer any questions you may have about the nursery school. You will also have the opportunity to see our lively classrooms in action. In order to truly appreciate our program we encourage you to attend any one of the scheduled dates below.

Register for an Open House

Normally, Open Houses take place in the Great Hall (2nd floor) of National United Methodist Church, located at 3401 Nebraska Avenue, NW. Enter from our parking lot located at the corner of Nebraska and New Mexico Avenues, across from American University.  There is a brief presentation followed by a tour of the school. 

Open Houses for Admission to School Year 2025-2026

We will host 2 in-person Open House times during the morning program and 1 final open-house in January on a Friday afternoon when no children are present. A reminder email with details about location, parking, any health/safety procedures, etc. will be sent out prior to your scheduled tour.

  • January 17th, in-person at 1 pm (If you didn’t sign up, but are able to join us for our final Open House in January, please feel free to meet us in the Church’s Great Hall at 1 pm)
